Decisions, Decisions, Decisions →
Decided that I was going to buy it both digitally and in print mostly because I know the industry puts so much weight on the pre-ordering.  But I do like reading comics digitally (I actually think digital subscriptions would be a big help here).  I wish there was an easy way to share scenes from within the app, though. snappily: teamclarklois: Bryan Q. Miller updated his blog today to explain...

WatchWatch
I can’t watched this yet.  It looks so unbelievably good but I promised myself that I would finish Avatar before I started watching Korra.  I have about six episodes to go (I have a bad habit of not finishing things I love). avatargrimes: Here’s the first 2 episodes of ‘Legend of Korra’ for those who cannot access the korranation site.

And the fact that the King had his brother and father killed in spectacularly painful ways.   snappily: fallfromstars replied to your post: fallfromstars replied to your post: Ned Stark and… ~But that one was different because Rhaegar took my sister~, I can even hear him saying in my head right now. OH NED. He is kind of like a dumb puppy, bless his heart.

my snappy patter doesn't set with the sun:... →
I never thought Ned was stupid.  I just think that he was categorically unsuited for the world of King’s Landing (and kudos to him, he knew it).  I just can’t not like a man who kept trying to avoid the murder of children.   snappily: fallfromstars replied to your post: Ned Stark and Jon Snow are definitely alike in the brains department Lol I always thought Ned’s business re: the...

It's Everything I like about Soaps...
I’m not really the sort of person who likes more “realistic” comic.  You know the ones that don’t have superheroes or magic.  But I love the modern Archie comics, especially the Archie Marries Veronica ones (because I always liked her more than Betty).  And it’s not really “true to life” but it is awesomely soapy and it makes me so happy.

Toughest Comics Question Ever...
I had this really nice, long response to this question but something crashed Chrome and I lost so this is what you get (let the rambling commence!). I grew up as Marvel Girl.  And to this day, if you ask me what my favourite comics ever have been, they would be without question a Marvel Comic.  It wasn’t that I didn’t have DC comics about.  I did because my uncle (whom I stole most of...

Baubles: Tribe Size? →
kellysue: Let’s try something… “Like” OR “Reblog” this if a) you’re a woman; and b) you buy and read superhero comics (of any variety - doesn’t have to be Big 2). DON’T LIKE AND REBLOG BOTH. I’m trying to get a sense of the size of our tribe here on Tumblr; if you both LIKE and REBLOG it’ll double…
